Taylor has always had a passion for the stage and the performing arts. She fell in love with performing at a young age and knew it was something she wanted to do forever. Born and raised in small-town Saskatchewan, she began dancing at the age of 4 at Alison Lamont School of Dance where she trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, and Acro. Taylor has completed her Advanced 2 with The Royal Academy of Ballet and is an advanced level tapper with The Canadian Dance Teachers Association.
Taylor moved to Vancouver BC in 2016 to pursue her interest in dance when she was accepted into the Intensive Training Program at Harbour Dance Center. She has also trained with professional companies such as Aviary, Honey, and Platform based out of Harbour Dance Center.
Taylor has worked on projects such as The CW’s Charmed, Universal Picture’s comedy Good Boys, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Julie and The Phantoms directed by Keny Ortega, NBC’s Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, and multiple other short films and music videos. In 2019, Taylor completed a 9-month contract with Disney Cruise Lines as a dancer, circus performer, and character performer. Taylor enjoys working with local production companies like Patrick Robge Productions on projects such as the 2020 PNE drive-thru event and the 2020 Winter Lights Festival.
Before the pandemic, you would find Taylor performing to sold-out crowds in “The Darlings Cabaret” across Vancouver. This show combines styles of jazz, rock, and modern cabaret in a very interactive and intimate setting.
Currently, she is continuing to enhance her circus skills by training in Silks, Aerial Hoop, and Tumbling with the Vancouver Circus School. Taylor has also discovered a new passion for modeling and is eager to grow her portfolio.
Taylor is a versatile, fearless, and determined individual who is constantly looking for new opportunities to share her love of performing with the world. Her fun and bubbly energy makes her a sought-after member of any team. Taylor looks forward to what the future will present and continues to explore the endless opportunities to grow in acting and dance.
