Krystel Cisnero, born and raised on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, began dancing at the age of 5. In her early years, Krystel primarily trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and musical theatre. Her training led to multiple scholarships at dance conventions including Tremaine, iDance, West Coast Dance Explosion and The Pulse. Her experience in these competitions created opportunities to train in Paris, Los Angeles and New York. Upon graduating secondary school, Krystel pursued her professional dance career with Carnival Cruise Line. Ultimately, her talents would find its way to Toronto, Canada.
It didn’t take long for the city of Toronto to take notice of Krystel’s work ethic. She danced in music videos with reputable recording artists such as Majid Jordan, July Talk and Ruth B. Krystel then moved onto TV & film, working in features such as xXx: Return of Xander, Disney’s - Zombies 2, as well as Grand Army, an upcoming Netflix series choreographed by Tanisha Scott. Her achievements would not end there, as Krystel was requested to perform in the Pan American Games with Cirque du Soleil, as well as the MMVA’s.
Krystel’s commercial dance career would take her back to the West Coast of Canada, to Vancouver BC, where she currently lives. Shortly after making the transition, she quickly found herself working in Bollywood film, Ishq My Religion, and multiple TV episodes in Valley of the Boom. Krystel has only scratched the surface in her dance career, and with her journey far from over, she consistently prepares herself for the next exciting opportunity.
