Born and raised in Toronto, Amanda has been a lover of dance for as long as she can remember. She has been a professional freelance dance artist for approximately 5 years now. Amanda has had the privilege of working and training with Linda Garneau (Helix Dance Project), Cora Kozaris, Vlad Novitski (Bridge to Artists), Apolonia & Ofilio (Gadfly), Tiffany MacLachlan, Caroline Torti, Akira Uchida, Kelly Shaw and more. She has studied Ohad Naharin's works and Gaga techniques in Tel Aviv and New York City, and has travelled much to expand her horizons on the art of performance and movement. Amanda is currently on faculty Millennium Dance Complex Toronto and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (250 hr), offering weekly classes around the city. Amanda holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Minor in Sociology from Ryerson University, working on publications in the field of dance and perception studies.
